Dave Whitmire has over 32 years of experience leading, planning, and managing both military and commercial organizations. Dave currently provides consulting and project management services to commercial, military and defense related businesses seeking to develop and measure the success of executable strategies. Dave has worked at Adobe Systems to provide planners and warfighters the tools necessary to secure their data and digitally transform. Before Adobe Dave served as the President, Chief Executive, and Chief Operations Officer of K2 Solutions, Inc., a 45M dollar product and services company serving the Special Operations, Intelligence, Military, and Law Enforcement communities.

Dave has over 32 years of experience in strategic, operational and tactical planning solving complex problems in the US Department of Defense, intelligence, interagency, and commercial sector. He is Military Education Level 4, and a graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS). He also holds a Master of Science degree from Central Michigan University in Organizational Administration, and a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina with concentrations in corporate finance, investment, and marketing strategy.

Dave has leveraged Army Design Methodology in his work with the Army G3, Joint Interagency Task Forces (JIATF) in Iraq, Afghanistan, National Capital Region (NCR) and in the corporate environment. While serving as a principal planner and Subject Matter Expert for Theater Special Operations Commands and Combatant Commands in Europe, Africa and the Central Command theater he developed assessment and critical infrastructure requirements for regional Special Operations Forces, international, and intergovernmental partners. Dave also served as a principle planner for NATO SOF participation and execution in Afghanistan. He later served as the Deputy Commander of NATO’s first operationally controlled US Special Operations element and reported directly to the NATO SOF Commander during its inaugural deployment. He was also selected for battalion command, and to lead Joint Interagency Task Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan and served as a primary planner for USSOCOM’s presence in the National Capital Region.
